The details of these great wax figures are so precise and realistic it’s astounding: individual hairs are visible, eyes are wet and focused, you can practically see them breath. And a part of these stunning masterpieces are only 1/6th scale, only becoming obvious when you compare them to the size of things next to them.bobby-causey-4 bobby-causey-1 bobby-causey-2

When talking about his work he says, “I can only tell you I love what I do. I have had all sorts of different jobs, and sculpture as been the most rewarding and fulfilling.” It is certainly obvious when looking at his pieces. Bobby Causey also shares some details about how he goes about creating his sculptures:

“I have unorthodox techniques I use on every piece. I just know what needs to be done and I do it. What I can say for sure is, I would start with NSP [non sulfurated Plasteline] Medium Clay, a shit-load of photo reference, and a desire to sculpt the person you are going to be sculpting.”bobby-causey-9 bobby-causey-8 bobby-causey
